Wedding Photography Questionnaire Version2

Wedding Photography Questionnaire

Wooooooohooooooo! The big day is almost here. Hasn’t that come around quickly?!

So, it’s time for us to gather all the important details, go through the plan for your day and plan all the timings and the final details. This wedding questionnaire will help me make sure I can do the absolute best job I can of capturing your awesome day– you can use it to let me know where people will be, and when, and what is happening! The more I know about the day in advance the better.

Please fill it out and send it back to me at least 2 weeks before your wedding day (sooner if you can!). The idea is that I can use the form to create a comprehensive timeline and put together my own itinerary to ensure I am always in the right place at the right time and that your wedding photography coverage is totally awesome!

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately you can’t save your progress on the form, so please make sure you’ve got all the information you need before you sit down to fill it in. Grab a cuppa, or a glass of wine, put on an awesome playlist and dig in! If there’s anything you’re uncertain about or need some advise on just let me know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to fill this out. It will help me to serve you the best way possible!

Email or message me if you have any questions!

I want your wedding photos to be flawless and beautiful. I will be unobtrusive and ready to capture your special moments as they happen.

Here are some suggestions and things to think about:

In order to get things off to a great start, please have all of the details you want images of in one place ready to be photographed when I arrive. (i.e. your dress, shoes, all rings—including his, invitations, jewellery, veil, bouquet, family heirlooms and any other items that you wish to have photos of!)

Don’t rush your first kiss!  At least 5 seconds of kissing should be enough to make sure that myself and any videographers who you hire have a chance to capture the moment properly!

Allow 50% more time for your hair and makeup than you originally anticipated on the big day. This will ensure you have plenty of time for everything else and that if you over run – you’re not late!

To shoot a private “bride and groom” portrait session, I will need around 30 minutes of your time alone at any point during the day.

Please also allow around 30 minutes after your ceremony for group photos.

If possible, please pre-assign a member of the wedding party, family member or friend who knows the people to be in the pictures to round them up for the photos. Getting people where they need to be for the photos is by far the most time-consuming part of group shots.

Please, make sure the cutting of the cake and/or any other parts of the evening to be captured occur within the booked time.

Don’t be afraid to smile and talk to each other when you are being photographed. Don’t feel that you constantly have to stare at the camera, I want you to create memories - not awkward photos!
