BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A non-refundable booking fee of £150 is required to secure the wedding date.
1.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the wedding date.
1.3 The preferred payment method is via bank transfer.
1.4 The photographer agrees that the price stated on the booking form is fixed and will not be subject to future increases in the photographer’s pricing structure.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing. The booking fee is non-refundable.
2.2 If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the wedding, 50% of the remaining balance will still be due.
2.3 If the photographer is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded, or a replacement photographer may be offered (subject to availability).
3. Coverage & Deliverables
3.1 The photographer will provide coverage as detailed in the booking form or written agreement.
3.2 Not all images taken will be delivered; only the best selected and professionally edited images will be included.
3.3 Final images will be delivered within 8–10 weeks of the wedding date via a private online gallery. Optional items (e.g. albums or prints) will be delivered as agreed separately.
4. Copyright & Usage
4.1 The photographer retains full copyright of all images.
4.2 The client is granted personal usage rights, including printing and sharing on social media.
4.3 Commercial use (e.g. by magazines or vendors) requires written permission.
4.4 The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, promotional material, and social media unless the client opts out in writing prior to the event.
5. Liability
5.1 The photographer is not liable for loss, damage, or failure to deliver images due to technical malfunctions, accidents, or force majeure events.
5.2 In the rare event of total photographic failure, the photographer's liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
6. Client Cooperation
6.1 The client agrees to provide a timeline of the wedding day and to appoint a contact person to assist the photographer on the day.
6.2 The client is responsible for securing any necessary permissions for photography at the venue(s).
7. Image Style & Editing
7.1 The client confirms they are familiar with the photographer’s style and artistic approach.
7.2 All editing is at the photographer’s discretion. RAW files will not be supplied.
8. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
8.1 Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the image gallery being delivered and before downloading or using any gallery images (excluding next-day previews, where applicable).
8.2 In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to consider mediation via a neutral third party.
8.3 The decision of the mediator shall be final and binding, and mediation costs will be covered by the client.
9. Data Protection & Third-Party Services
9.1 The photographer uses secure third-party platforms (e.g. gallery hosting, scheduling tools) to manage your booking and deliver services.
9.2 Only essential data—such as name, contact info, event date, and images—is shared to fulfil your booking.
9.3 If your package includes a second photographer, limited event details may be shared to ensure seamless coverage.
9.4 By booking, the client consents to this minimal data sharing, solely for the purpose of delivering services.
